Our Mission

The Moorpark Friends of the Library (MFOTL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit volunteer community organization whose purpose is to provide financial support for programs and activities of the Moorpark City Library. These include a wide variety of exciting and innovative reading, technical, and craft programs for people of all ages. MFOTL endeavors to focus the attention and interest of the public on the invaluable community service offered by the library of today.

New Library Progress

THE DREAM IS BECOMING CONCRETE - LITERALLY!

Dear Friends

Hm-m-m-m. Wish I had a more impressive view of the new library, but short of climbing over the fence, hauling out a large ladder, or flying a drone, this is the best your roving reporting could do recently. There definitely a base roof. The contractors gave it priority before the rain to protect floors and other interior work. But progress is progress, right? And every bit takes us closer to the opening day! ~ Rosalie Barili
