Our Mission

The Moorpark Friends of the Library (MFOTL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit volunteer community organization whose purpose is to provide financial support for programs and activities of the Moorpark City Library. These include a wide variety of exciting and innovative reading, technical, and craft programs for people of all ages. MFOTL endeavors to focus the attention and interest of the public on the invaluable community service offered by the library of today.

New Library Progress

A GOOD FOUNDATION IS EVERYTHING!

Thanks to our run of dry weather, good progress is being made on the New Library construction. Now what you can see, but so important - where the current focus is on underground and waterworks. Just as important, the building permit was pulled on March 16, with construction now scheduled to be done October 2027.
